We Look Towards 2022! / 2021 Convention Press Release

The Northwest Baseball Coaches Association has made the decision to officially cancel our annual conference in January 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions and public health concerns associated with the Coronavirus.  “We miss our coaching friends, and were really looking forward to getting back together in January,” said NWBCA Executive Director Gus Farah. “It’s a great time of the year to network, share and enjoy good times with colleagues. But sadly, COVID won’t allow for us to gather as we normally do.”

The NWBCA convention plans to return, bigger and better, in January, 2022. In addition, the NWBCA is working towards offering its member registrants more benefits that extend beyond its annual conference. Also, as soon as the spring of 2021, the NWBCA intends to introduce short coaching tip videos – via its social media channels – to welcome back baseball.

“We wish our coaches and partners the very best during these uncertain and unprecedented times. We’ll keep in touch and please know we are here for our coaching community. We encourage coaches to ask questions about the convention or share thoughts on how we can make the event and the association better,” said Farah.
